We are a small group of local residents who have been providing sports and other activities to the community since the start of The Manor in 2005.
We have been working hard to bring the manor to its full potential and see our great space get used for recreational community sports and activities. We aim to build stronger communities through sports and leisure.

The Manor sports facilities comprise:
- A large sports hall with a safe enclosed outdoor play area attached
- A grass Mini football pitch
- Two 3G 5 a-side football pitches
- One 7 a-side football pitch
- An outdoor multi-use-hardcourt games area
Our board of local resident directors and volunteers from the local community took over the sports hall which was removed from the councils budget in 2005 because it was too expensive to run.
It was only being used up to 16-Hrs per week and today the manor hall is booked out for more than 60-Hrs per week. With the hall at full capacity we decided to fundraise to extend our facilities.
We now have a multi use games area which will accommodate Basketball, Netball, Volleyball, and 3G pitches for football training, matches and tournaments.
Our Outdoor Facilities provide space for football, basketball, volleyball and netball.

The site is on Manor Road, East Brighton BN2 5EA and is the only flat recreational area serving the 6,000 people who live within walking distance.
We are next to St Mark's Primary School and within easy reach of frequent bus routes on Eastern Road. See our map on our contact us page.
The stated aim of the company/ charity is to ensure the continued and increased use of the manor as a community sports facility. There had been talk before we took over for The Manor to become a preliminary health care centre or even a car park.
